Obituary

CHICOPEE – Michael F. Lamoureaux, 66, of the Chicopee Falls section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, April 2, 2020. He passed into Eternal Life at his home surrounded by all the memories he loved and cherished. He was born in Springfield on July 23, 1953, a beloved son of the late Gilbert O. Lamoureaux and Millicent R. (Buckle) Lamoureaux. He was raised in East Springfield and moved to Chicopee Falls around 2008. He was a long distance tractor trailer driver and worked for many local trucking companies in the area. He enjoyed his vegetable garden, collecting coins and stamps and working on cars. He leaves his two loving sisters, Jeanne M. Burns and her husband, Norman, of West Springfield and Margaret R. Murty of Springfield; his sister-in-law, Laurie A. Lamoureaux of South Hadley; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family members. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his loving brother, Gilbert B.”Gil” Lamoureaux who was Called Home on February 28, 2018. His funeral and burial are private.
