Richard H. Braley, age 85 of Whitman, formerly of East Bridgewater, passed on March 29, 2020 at home surrounded by his family.
Richard was born Oct 25, 1934 in Brockton to the late Carlton and Hilda (Lawson) Braley
He was a long-time home delivery driver for H.P. Hoods & Sons, an auto salesman, and was employed as a delivery driver for 19 years at UPS from where he retired.
Richard was a graduate of Whitman High School, and served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the East Bridgewater Kiwanis, enjoyed golf, bowling, a fan of baseball, football, and he enjoyed RVing.
Richard was the loving husband of 63yrs to Judith (Ripley) Braley. Father of sons, Steven and wife Faith Braley of Norwell, Scott and wife MaryJane Braley of East Bridgewater, Stuart and wife Theresa Braley of Carver. Daughter, Suzanne Jenkins,and husband Edward of North Chesterfield, VA. Grandfather to 13, and Great Grandfather to 7, and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brother Carl Braley Jr., sister Barbara Reeder, and daughter-in-law Kandice Braley.
