Roberta (Goldstein) Golini, 88, of Peabody, beloved wife of the late Alfred Golini, and Leonard Braverman died March 31, 2020 at the Courtyard Nursing Home Medford surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chelsea she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Betty Goldstein whose family owned Goldsteins Supermarket in Chelsea for many years. She was educated in Chelsea a graduate of Chelsea High School; Roberta went on to Mary Brooks School of Boston to continue her education. Roberta was also employed as a secretary for the City of Chelsea.
Roberta enjoyed spending time her family and friends especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Roberta is survived by her daughters Ellen Braverman Fortes of Peabody and Betsy Braverman Stevens of Danvers, her grandchildren Jamie, Joseph and Nicole Gaeta and great grandchildren Christopher and Raegan Gaeta, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Berton Goldstein. Private graveside services were held due to the COVID -19 virus.
