Mary Elizabeth (McCabe) Foley, 5-28-1948 to 3-28-2020. Originally from Roslindale, spent most of her adult life in Hyde Park.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Thomas F. Foley, her parents Margaret (Peg) and John (Jack) McCabe, and her 3 sisters: Barbara McCabe, Noreen McCabe and Eileen Duffey. She is survived by her two children: John J. Foley, and his wife Susan, of Mashpee, MA., her daughter Donna M. Foley of Nashville, TN. Mary leaves behind one granddaughter, Gillian R Foley, whom she adored. Mary also leaves one brother, Thomas J. McCabe and his wife Claire, her Brother in Law Daniel Foley and his wife Diane and Brother in Law Stephen Duffey, husband to Eileen. Mary is also survived by many special nieces and nephews as well as a close group of her very best friends.
Mary’s wishes were to be cremated and her ashes scattered. A funeral mass and gathering for family and friends who would like to remember and celebrate Mary’s memory will be held at a later date which will be announced once this world comes back to normal.
