Adrianne Jayne “AJ” Weiss of Melrose formerly of Malden on Sunday, March 29th, 2020. Born in Chelsea, MA to the late Marshall Weiss and Baile (Poretsky) Weiss. After graduating from Malden High School, Adrianne attended Boston College, graduating in 1981 with a degree in Psychology. Adrianne worked for many years as a Social Worker for the State of Massachusetts. She also was the MassHealth Chapter President of the Local 509, SEIU.
She was the loving and devoted sister of Stanley Weiss and wife Lorna of GA and Jay Weiss of Lynnfield, MA. Loving and cherished Aunt of Alexandra Weiss, Matthew Weiss, Stephen Weiss and Emma Hardin. A private burial will take place at the Chelsea Cherva Kadisha Cemetery Everett. Contributions in Adrianne’s memory may be made to the Local 509 SEIU-293 Boston Post Road W4, Marlborough, MA 01752.
