Stephen W. Anderson, 69, of Scenery Lane, Johnston, passed away on Monday in the Bayberry Common Nursing Home in Pascoag.
Born in Cranston and raised on a farm in Scituate, a son of the late Stanley and Helen Anderson. He had lived in Johnston previously living in Fairview, New Jersey and Burrillville, RI. He had been a Concrete Testing Engineer for Briggs Engineering before retiring.
He leaves his sons, Neil Anderson of Foster, Kyle and Heather Anderson of Smithfield and his grandchildren, Alexandra Carter of Smithfield, Kyle anderson, Jr. of Norfolk, VA and Nicholas Anderson of Smithfield.
His funeral was private. Burial was in Westfield Cemetery, Danielson, Ct. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the program that cared for his sister, Heidi Anderson who lived with Down’s Syndrome, Refocus, 45 Greeley Street, Providence, RI 02904 401-272-1600
