TAMWORTH- John Gammon, Sr. of Tamworth, NH passed into his heavenly home on March 22. He was
born in So. Freeport, ME in 1941 to the late Gerald and Eva Gammon.
John was loved by many, especially his wife, Judy of 58 years; his son, Jason of Tamworth;
his son John Jr. and Darlene of West Ossipee.
He is survived by brother Edward Gammon and his wife Jackie of Bryant Pond, ME; his
sister Rose Fish and husband Tedd of Lewiston, ME; sister in law- Nancy Cote and husband Paul of Lewiston, sister-in-law Dorothy and her husband
Roger Hale of Scarborough, ME; brother-in-law Arthur Verrill of Manchester, NH and lots of
nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Louise, Jeanette, Peggy and half-brother Gerald.
John loved logging and making replacement wooden tool handles at his shop in Tamworth.
He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding, building homes with his wife Judy, and
looking out his window at Mt. Chocorua.
Services will be private at a later date.
