FALL RIVER – Isaura (Moniz) Do Rego, age 72 of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 23, 2020 at R.I. Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Capelas São Miguel, Açores, Isaura was the daughter of the late Carlos Moniz and the late Maria da Lurdes (Botelho) Moniz. She was also the former wife of João Do Rego.
Isaura was a parishioner of St. Michael’s and loved to spend quality time with all of her family and friends.
Isaura is survived by her children: Fernando Rego (wife Ana) of Swansea, Susana Miranda, Alvaro Rego, and Nelia Dias all of Fall River, Laurenio Do Rego (wife Stephanie) of Somerset; siblings: Irondina Dias of Fall River, Carlos Moniz & Almerinda Pacheco , both of São Miguel, Açores, Maria da Lurdes Botelho of Canada, Marcelino Moniz of São Miguel, Açores; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and many nieces & nephews.
