In Middleboro formerly of Taunton, March 22, 2020 Shirley A. (L’Heureux) McGuire devoted wife of the late John F. McGuire died at Oakhill Nursing Home at the age of 82. Born in Taunton, Shirley was the daughter of the late Louis and Elaine (McDonough) L’Heuroux. She was a graduate of Taunton High School class of 1954 with honors and she was the head Majorette of the high school band. Shirley was a retired secretary for Wedgemere Nursing Home in Taunton for over forty years. Shirley was the loving mother of Stephen P. McGuire and the late Michael McGuire and his wife Claudine McGuire. Grandmother of Seth and Zackary McGuire. Sister of the late Marjorie Borges, Patricia Luiz, Carolyn O’Neil and James L’Heuroux. Step Grandmother of Andrea Henault, Jason Fleck and great step grandmother of two. She was a caring aunt, cousin and friend. Due to the Federal and State regulations a private graveside service will be held at St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
