LOWELL: Brenda L. (Baxter) Pereira, age 63, of South Lowell, a former longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away at her home on Friday, March 20, 2020.
She was the beloved wife of William J. Pereira, who passed away on February 17, 2005.
Born in Lowell on February 25, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Francis P. Baxter and the late Ivy Norma (Haines) Baxter.
Brenda was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools, and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School.
She was employed for the past 30 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant by area nursing and healthcare facilities.
Brenda was known for her generous spirit and her willingness to help those in need.
She treasured the time spent with her family and friends organizing fundraising dinners, and attending family gatherings and cookouts.
Brenda is survived by two children, Laura A. Pottie and her husband Michael of Billerica, and Brian W. Pereira and his girlfriend Amy Stiner of Lowell; her granddaughter, Bryanna M. Pottie and her boyfriend Jeremy Ingram; her great-grandson, Jayson Ingram; also many cousins and extended family members.
A celebration of Brenda’s life is planned for a later date.
