Obituary



David S. Wallace, lifelong resident of Medford, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, March 19th. He was 74. Born and raised in Medford, he was the son of the late
Stanley C. and Lillian (Doherty) Wallace.

David worked extremely hard as manager of the Cambridge Wine and Spirits in Fresh Pond for the past 30 years, where he made many great friends. When David was not working he enjoyed singing karaoke at Papas and the Highland Café in Medford, he was a pro when it came to singing Mack the Knife.

He was a fun loving, outgoing, caring man. He absolutely adored and loved his family and would do everything and anything for them. An avid animal lover David adored his cat Clancy and dogs especially Lucy and Maggie.

David was the former husband and best friend of Nancy (Lee) Wallace. He was the devoted father of Michael D. Wallace and his wife Pamela of Tewksbury, James M. Wallace and his wife Rachel of Wilmington, and Richard A. Wallace and his wife Rachael of Tewksbury. The loving grandfather of Joseph M., Christopher M., Samantha V., and Gavin D. Wallace. He was the dear brother of Richard Wallace, Robert Wallace and the late Judith King.

David’s funeral service will be private. His family will schedule a celebration of life at a later date.
