Jackie L. Owens, 68, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, March 22, 2020, at Ocilla Cemetery, in Ocilla, Georgia, with the Rev. Cecil Burkett officiating.
Mr. Owens was born December 14, 1951, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Grady Lee & Louise Paul Owens. He was a welder for Paulk Manufacturing Company and worked on the assembly line at Delphi. He dearly loved his grandchildren and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Gerelle Griffin Owens of Fitzgerald; two sons: Michael Owens & Patricia Nissen of Waynesville and Kenny Owens of California; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Raburn of Fitzgerald. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ricky Owens.
