SOMERSET… Aline M. (LeComte)(Dagesse) Potvin, 96, of Somerset passed away March 19, 2020 at Clifton Rehabilitation.
She was the loving wife of the late Edward R. Potvin.
Born in Springfield, she was a daughter of the late Neree and Laura (Caron) Dagesse and Willaston LeComte and Marie LeComte-Benoit. She had lived in the Somerset area for much of her life.
Mrs. Potvin was a communicant of St. Louis de France Church in Swansea and had worked for many years in Sales for the former Apex. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading and playing cards but above all else, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters: Donna J. Gomes (husband: Roger) of Tiverton and Anne L. LeBlanc of Somerset; her son: Dr. Robert E. Potvin (wife: Dr. Donna Cone) of Providence; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Margaret A. “Peggy” Boardman and was the sister of the late Richard Dagesse, Albert Dagasse, Norman LeComte, Robert LeComte, Paul LeComte, Louis LeComte, Lorraine Belanger, Johnny Dagesse and Rita Desnoyers.
Visitation to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, March 23, 2020 from 5 – 8 PM at South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723.
