Cheryl L. "Cherie" (Pickreign) Ramos, 57 of New Bedford died March 14, 2020 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She was the wife of Ronald M. Ramos.
Born in Springfield, MA, daughter of Sandra (Darrah) Pickreign of Wilbraham, MA and the late Richard Pickreign, Sr., she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Nikita "Nikki" Ramos of New Bedford; 3 step-children, Darrell Ramos and his fiancée Keri Kubik, Phillip "Aaron" MacRamos and his wife Colleen, all of New Bedford and Raeha Smothers and her husband Terry of Texas; a brother, Richard Pickreign, Jr. and his wife Heidi of Harvard, MA; 2 sisters, Deborah Judd and her husband Ian of England and Cindy Pickreign of Washington State; 7 grandchildren, Jaydel, Kaiden, Talia, Maggie, Jack, Jalen and Arianna; sisters-in-law, Renay Ribeiro, Raulene Mendes-Martin and Priscilla DeBarros and her husband Nelson, all of New Bedford; a brother-in-law, Randall Ramos of New Bedford; a Godson Brandon Talgo; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter-in-law of the late Raul N. and Antonia "Tanya" Ramos.
Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 8th at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Visiting hours are omitted. Arrangements are with the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
