Ila Jean Miller Conger, 88, of West Berrien passed away Monday, March 16, 2020, at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2020, at Oaky Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Berrien County, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Rickey Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday, March 20, 2020, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Ricky Parks, Billy Conger, Terry Wells, Calloway Nichols, Harry Sims and Garvey Nichols Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
Born July 11, 1931 in Hadley, Michigan, Mrs. Conger was the daughter of the late Roy Miller and Frankie Lambert Miller. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Conger is survived by her husband, Harvey Curtis Conger of West Berrien; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ron Conger of Hillman, Michigan and James “Jim” and Ronnie Conger of West Berrien; one daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Kelly Morris of Michigan; two granddaughters and their husband, Ashley and Marshall Moore and Kaitlyn and Jay Sammut; and one great-granddaughter, Analeigh Sammut.
