Robert R. "Bob" Harris, 88, of Leesburg, Florida, formerly of Alexandria, died peacefully on March 13, 2020 at his residence.
He was born August 15, 1931, in Anderson, the son of Maurice and Mildred (Humbles) Harris. He was a tool & die maker for 42 years at Guide Lamp before retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and United Auto Workers Local 663. He enjoyed flower gardening and being outdoors.
He is survived by his three sons, Brad (Donna) Harris, Bryan (Pam) Harris and Brent (Jackie) Harris all of Alexandria; three grandchildren, Michelle Lee (Raymond) Dela Calzada of Utah; Brock Harris of Indianapolis and Brittany Harris of Columbus, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Bailey Harris, Star Walters, Weston Walters and Rozalyn Walters.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Barbara J. (Barth) Harris died January 19, 1992 and his grandson, Bryan Harris, Jr.
Private graveside service will be held at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
