CAROL LANDIS
Carol Sue (Woods) Landis, age 63, of 35 Sherman Street, New London, died Sunday at Connecticut Hospice in Branford.
Mrs. Landis was born in Mount Clemens, MI on October 18, 1938, the daughter of the late Carl Woods and Margaret (Walters) Woods.
Before her retirement in June, she was a staff assistant for the US Department of State and resided in Beltsville, MD
Besides her mother, she is survived by her daughter Margaret “Meg” Landis of New London with whom she made her home, a son Gordon Landis of El Segundo, CA, and a brother Robert Woods of Ray, MI.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 20, at College Park United Methodist Church in College Park, Md. Donations in Mrs.’s Landis memory may be made to Connecticut Hospice in Branford, CT
