Monte Clinton Weston, Alexandria, died March 12, 2020 at Community Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born December 28, 1941, in Anderson, the son of John G. and Nellie E. (Lawson) Weston. He worked production at General Motors for 36 years before retiring.
Monte is survived by his two children; Susie (Mark) Bodkin and Brian (Heather) Weston; brother, Larry (Marie) Weston; six grandchildren: Stephanie, Jessica, Jeremy (Stacey), Joshua, Bryce, Lacey (Steven); ten great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, special friend, Jan Tetrow and seven siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Bob Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service Tuesday at the funeral home.
