Richard C. Catino, of Medford, passed away on March 12. He was 84 years old. He was the beloved husband of the late Rosemary (Connolly) Catino. Born in Medford, he was the cherished son of the late Patrick and Theresa (Amoroso) Catino.
Richard was in the produce business. His company supplied fruit, including limes, lemons, pineapples and oranges, as well as other types of fruit, to many bars, restaurants and ice cream shops, to be used for garnishments in drinks and various types of desserts.
Richard was the devoted father of Sandra Salvati and her husband Keith of Cranston, RI., Rick Catino Jr. and his wife Annmarie of Wilmington, Susan R. Honeycutt and her husband William of Medford, Paul Catino of Salem, MA. and the late Susan M. Catino. Adored grandfather of Ryan, Scott, Michael, Ariana, David, Brian and Alexa and loving great grandfather of Samantha, Benjamin and Theodore. Dear brother of Joseph Catino of Billerica and the late Ann Errico, Grace Alongi and Patrick Catino. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, MA., on Tuesday, March 17, from 8:30-10:30AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 11AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
