LaPaglia, Frances “Fran”, of South Boston, March 11th. She will be reunited with her best friend and loving partner of 30 years,Werner, who predeceased her in 2017.
Fran was the driving force behind her beloved children: Mark and his wife Yvonne of Marshfield (with whom she spent many happy years living in the home they made for her), Wayne and his wife Peggy of Rockland, Angelo and his wife Susan of Braintree and Valerie McDonough and her husband Tommy of Rockland. Grandmother of Charlie, Ryan, James, Brooke, Justine, Valerie, Brianna, Nicholas, Kurtis, Molly, Meaghan and Sean. Great grandmother of Cameron and Payton.
Daughter of the late Charles and Katherine Norton. Dear sister of Janice Norton, Charlene Geraghty and the late Robert Norton, Chuckie Norton, Sandy Bowers and Marilyn Glennon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Fran loved being surrounded by family and friends especially her best friends Sully, Janie and Ruthie. She also loved her terrier Peppy and then Nicky.
She will be sorely missed but lovingly remembered.
Visiting hours in the Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester St., South Boston, Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 9:00am-11:00am. Interment directly following at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fran’s memory to the South Boston Boys and Girls Club, 230 West Sixth Street, South Boston, MA 02127.
