Fall River – Josephine T. (Zembo) Goulet, 92, of Westport died Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at Catholic Memorial Home after a brief illness. She was the widow of Raymond Goulet.
She was born in Westport, daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Dziedzic) Zembo, and was a lifelong resident of Westport. Mrs. Goulet was a Communicant of St. George Church, Westport. Prior to her retirement in 1975 she worked for the United States Navy Base Headquarters in Newport, RI for 35 years. She was a member of the Westport Historical Society, the Noquochoke Senior Citizens and the National Organization of Retired Federal Employees.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Albert Zembo, John Zembo, Louis Zembo, Walter Zembo, Stanley Zembo, Mary Szymanik, Frances Normandin and Julia Black.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be from the Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport, Saturday, February 11, 2006 at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St George Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Friday 5 – 8 P.M.
Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
