Elizabeth R. Terhune, 100 1/2 years old, of West Medway, Massachusetts, passed away surrounded by family on March 10, 2020. Elizabeth, the daughter of Edgar VanCourt Reinhold, Sr. and Ruth Kellogg Reinhold, was born on August 9, 1919 in Yonkers, New York.
Elizabeth was married to Robert Chandler Terhune for 63 years, and has been a resident of West Medway, Massachusetts since 1953. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Pond and her husband Rick of Bellingham, Massachusetts, grandchildren Bonnie Bain Terkelsen and her husband Jim and Allan Chandler Bain and his wife Heidi, great-grandchildren Ryan Bain, Lauren and Amanda Laflamme and great-great-grandchild Maverick.
Elizabeth is also survived by a sister, Ruth R. Byar and her husband Warren, of West Redding, Connecticut, along with nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Edgar VanCourt Reinhold, Sr. and Ruth Kellogg Reinhold, and stepfather Loring A. Worl; her husband Robert Chandler Terhune; daughter Bonnie Gallagher; granddaughter Stacey Bain; brother Edgar VanCourt Reinhold, Jr. and sister Dorothy R. Smith.
Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, of Medway, Massachusetts, is in charge of funeral arrangements. There will be no calling hours. A gathering may be held upon a future date, at the convenience of family members.
