Obituary

SALEM- Emily P. (Phillips) LeBel, 82, wife of Gerard LeBel of Salem, died Tuesday afternoon, February 7, 2006 in the Salem Hospital following a long illness.

Born in Harrah, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Helen (Kozak) Phillips.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed for many years by GTE Sylvania at the Loring Avenue, Salem plant.

Mrs. LeBel was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting. She was a Red Sox and Patriots fan.

A resident of Salem since childhood, she was a graduate of Salem High School in the class of 1940, and was a parishioner of the St. John The Baptist Church, Salem.

Besides her husband, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage, she is survived by three nephews, one niece and their families. She was the sister of the late Joseph W. Phillips.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday morning, February 10, 2006 at 10 am at the St. John The Baptist Church, Salem. A visitation will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 AM, prior to the Mass at the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
