Obituary

Harry L. Doucette of Medford died on Tuesday, March 10, at Sawtelle Hospice House of Reading. Born and raised in Medford, he was the son of the late William and Lucy (Comeau) Doucette. Harry proudly served in the Air Force before returning home and working as a carpenter.

Harry loved dogs, the outdoors, and spending time at his lake house. Boating, fishing, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his grandchildren were his favorite pastimes. Harry was a diligent worker, and was always willing to help out neighbors and friends whenever they needed it.

Harry was the beloved husband of the late Anna P. (Andrew) Doucette, and the devoted father of Michael Doucette and his wife Kathy Murray-Doucette, and Andrea Parziale and her husband David, all of Medford. He was the loving grandfather of Thomas and William Doucette, Emily Murray-Doucette, Christopher Murray, Brooke, Katelyn, Lauren, Alyssa, and David Parziale Jr. Harry was the dear brother of the late Robert Doucette and his surviving wife Barbara of Wilmington and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford on Thursday, March 12 at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford from 9 through 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Harry's name to the American Parkinson's Disease Association MA Chapter, 72 East Concord St., Boston, MA 02118.
