Maria H. (Cabral) DeMelo, age 93, passed away on March 6, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Diniz P. DeMelo. Mother of Nevia M. Calouro and her husband Carlos of Tewksbury, the late Dinis C. Pacheco and his wife Diana of New Bedford, Frank Pacheco and his wife Josy of Haverhill, Mozart Melo and his wife Maria Zulmira of Tewksbury. Grandmother of Debbie Winter, Stephen Calouro, Timmy Pacheco, Melissa Amaral, Jessica Halloran, Jason Melo, Jordana Macias, Dinis and Matheus Pacheco. Sister of the late Blandina DeMelo. She leaves 13 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Calling hours are Monday, March 9, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Her funeral procession will begin on Tuesday, March 10 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Williams Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Services conclude at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452 are appreciated.
