Obituary

WORCESTER___Walter G. Glamuzina, 85, of 9 Alamo St., died Friday February 3 in the Hospice Residence, 10 Judith Rd.

He leaves his wife of 60 years, Pauline (Michniewicz) Glamuzina, a son, Robert Glamuzina and his wife Barbara of Windsor Locks, Ct, a daughter, Melanie Nadeau of Farmington, Me, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Walter Glamuzina of West Palm Beach, Fl, and by a brother, Joseph Glamuzina. He was born in Chester, Pa, a son of George and Louise (Lopatka) Glamuzina and has lived here for most of his life.

Mr. Glamuzina was a machinist foreman many years for Reed Rolled Thread Die Co., and retired 22 years ago. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving in the Asiatic Pacific theater including the Guadalcanal campaign.

Mr. Glamuzina was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church and was a graduate of Worcester Boy’s Trade High School.

After cremation a Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday February 11 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. There are no calling hours.
