WORCESTER-Virginia F. (Clay) Reardon, 62 of 34 Oneida Avenue formerly of 61 Fairfield Street died Sunday, July 7th at home after a long battle with lung cancer. She leaves her husband of 40 years, Gerald F. Reardon; 3 sons, Michael F. Reardon of Paxton, Matthew F. Reardon of Mansfield, Mark F. Reardon of Worcester; 3 daughters, Annmarie P.Murphy of Paxton, Debbie-Ann M. Phelan of Jefferson, Luanne M. Pehl of Worcester; 3 sisters, Maureen A. Grady of Auburn, Pauline Y. Moran of Framingham, Barbara A. Yaeger of Worcester; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was born in Worcester daughter of Vernon and Anita (Auger) Clay and lived in Worcester all her life. She graduated from St. Peter’s High School and the Worcester School of Business and Science. Mrs. Reardon was a senior staff accountant for Norton Company for 27 years. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 10th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 9th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
