Mr. William F. Walsh, Sr., a longtime resident of Andover and beloved husband of Eileen M. (McCarthy) Walsh, passed away at the Lawrence General Hospital on Friday morning, February 21, 2020. He was 84 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on February 20, 1936, he was the beloved son of the late Francis and Irene (Wilson) Walsh. Mr. Walsh shared ownership of Lawrence Mack for most of his 50 year career selling and servicing Mack Trucks. He was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his beloved wife, Eileen, he is survived by his loving children; John R. and his wife Mary K. Walsh of Andover, Thomas J. Walsh of Bedford, Peter M. and his wife Susan B. Walsh of Andover and Nancy A. Walsh of North Andover, brother; Jack Walsh of Malaysia and grandchildren; Kelly, Kathleen, Billy, John, Daniel and Lilly. William was also the loving father of the late William F. Walsh, Jr.
