Marie-Anne V. (Lima) Flores, 76, of Woonsocket died on Wednesday February 26, 2020 at the Holiday in Manville.
Born and raised in Woonsocket she is the oldest daughter of the late Francisco and Rose (Champagne) Lima. Marie was a resident of Woonsocket for most of her life and also lived in Puerto Rico for a few years.
In the earlier years Marie and her family were members of St. Charles Parish in Woonsocket.
Marie was a friendly and outgoing lady, able to form quick and lasting friendships with most everybody she met. Through her cheerful and hopeful outlook on life Marie was able to brighten up anyone’s day.
Marie's whole world centered around her family and her love for them will last forever.
She is survived by three daughters; Tina Brissette and her husband John of Tiverton, Anne-Marie Flores and her partner Sandy of Woonsocket and Joanne Flores of Georgia.
Marie was the sister of Francisco Lima, Jr. of Woonsocket, Joseph Lima of Coventry, Peter Lima of Chicago, Julie Desjardins of Woonsocket, Theresa Szuflicki of Bellingham and Joanne Dumont of Woonsocket.
She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Jarrett Flores, Michael Brissette, Bethany Brissette, and Ramsey Flores. Marie also had 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and their families that all will carry her in their hearts forever.
In accordance with Marie’s wishes her arrangements are private and in care of the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket.
