Marjorie (Margie) Griffin, 77, of South Boston, MA passed away on Thursday 2/27/2020, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born on November 3, 1942 in Boston, MA, she was a daughter of the late Agnes (Flaherty) and Joseph Griffin of Boston, MA.
Margie is survived by her son Paul Griffin and his wife Sabina, grandchildren Nicholas and Vivienne, sisters Marie Fields and Kathleen Griffin, brother Jim Griffin, nieces Kathy Kelley Sharpe, Christine Kelley Lange, Marie Costello and nephew Sean Kelley, all of whom she loved very much. Margie, her love, kindness and wry sense of humor will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
A memorial service will be held at St. Monica's Church, 331 Old Colony Ave., South Boston, MA at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Visiting hours are respectively omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
