John Torry Pisciotta, 79, of Omega, passed away Friday, February 28, 2020, at Tift Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2020, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Terrell Roberts officiating. Mr. Pisciotta will be laid to rest at Omega Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 1, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Tony Cox, Larry Dunn, Freddie Weeks, Ray Hunt Jr., Jimmy Johnson and Larry Lamb will serve as pallbearers.
Born December 4, 1940 in Tift County, Mr. Pisciotta was the son of the late Jack Pisciotta and Floydean Jewell Pilkinton Stephens. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Francis Joyce Pisciotta. He retired from the automotive business and was a member of Omega Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and father and his children were his life.
Mr. Pisciotta is survived by his wife of 62 years, Loretta Rigsby Pisciotta of Omega; two sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Shirley Pisciotta and Joey and Pennie Pisciotta, all of Tifton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie and Freddie Weeks of Ty Ty and Kathy and Marty Roberts of Ocilla; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Jessica Pisciotta, Andrew Pisciotta, Torri Brooke Weeks, Michael Pisciotta (Amanda), Matt Roberts (Ariel), Megan Black and Amber Snider; and two great-grandsons, Noah Pisciotta and Mason Pisciotta.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial gifts may be made to Omega Baptist Church, 219 Oak Street, Omega, GA 31775.
