FALL RIVER… Maria P. Camara, 94, of Fall River passed away February 25, 2020 at her home.
She was the loving wife of the late Manuel R. Camara.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Francisco Cabral Lindo and Guilhermina Pacheco (Cabral) Cabral. She had moved to Fall River in 1975.
Mrs. Camara was a communicant of Espirito Santo Church, Fall River and had worked as a Machine Operator in the local Textile Industry for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed day trips to the casino and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her sister Ilda Raposo of Fall River and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 19 brothers and sisters.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, March 2, 2020 at 10 AM from the South Coast Funeral Home, 1555 Pleasant St. Fall River, MA 02723 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Espritio Santo Church, Alden St. Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday from 8:30 - 10 AM, prior to the funeral.
