Obituary

Loren William Amack, age 68, entered into rest on February 19, 2020 at his home in Prosser. He was born on October 28, 1951 in Denver, Colorado to Carl William and Florence Pearl (Kibel) Amack. He was raised and educated in Prosser and graduated from Prosser High School with the class of 1970. After high school, Loren enlisted in the US Air Force and proudly served for twenty years before retiring. He returned to Prosser and became a jack of all trades but really enjoyed owning his own lawn mowing business.

Loren and his wife Rose were very active in the Senior Center where he enjoyed playing bingo and cards. He had a big heart and great sense of humor and loved helping people and volunteering whenever he could. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. He was a member of the Columbia Valley Grange and the Buena Vista Grange.

Loren is survived by his wife, Rose; his children, Gary Amack of Oklahoma, Allen Wallace of Grandview, LeRoy Wallace of Colorado and Lynn Wallace of Covington, WA; his grandchildren, Derrick and Arabella John, Adalynn, Stephanie and Marrisa Amack, Heather and Amanda Wallace, Aaron Burnett and Arlen Wallace. He is also survived by his siblings, Norma Bender (Miles) of Prosser, Lawrence Amack (Tomoko) of Okinawa, Randy Amack (Cha) of Kennewick, Beverly Crow (Mike) and Keith Amack, all of West Richland, and Stan Amack (Sheryl) of Norris, MT; and numerous nieces and nephews.
