Obituary

Anne T. (O’Brien) Fuller, age 89, a lifelong resident of Winchester and South Yarmouth, passed away on February 22, 2020, lovingly surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife for 25 years of the late Carl L. Fuller until his death in 1976.

Born, raised and educated, in Winchester, Anne was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen (Sullivan) O’Brien. A graduate of Winchester High School with the class of 1948, Anne worked in various capacities throughout town, including as an Administrative Assistant in the Town Manager’s office and as an administrator, or “Uni-Clerk” at Winchester Hospital. Most recently, she was employed at TASC, in Andover, before retirement.

In her spare time, Anne enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She could always be found with a crocheting project in hand, and often created treasured afghans for her family. She was a longtime member of the Harvard Club in Boston, and served as a Greeter, Eucharistic Minister and choir member at St. Eulalia’s Church in Winchester.

Mrs. Fuller is survived by her five children: Carl L. “Bud” Fuller, Jr. of Woburn, Mark J. Fuller of North Andover, Elisabeth A. Haskell of Osterville, Paul K. Fuller of Cave Creek, AZ, and Carolyn R. Fuller O’Shaughnessy of Cotuit. She was the dear sister of Paul O’Brien of Portsmouth, NH, and the late Joseph O’Brien, John “Jack” O’Brien and Katherine Mackun, and is also lovingly survived by 9 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Friday, February 28th, from 5-8PM, and again on Saturday, February 29th, at 9AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Eulalia’s Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester, at 10AM. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
