Mrs. Virginia “Jeanne” A. (Jaynes) Fitzpatrick, a resident of Tewksbury, formerly of Medford and beloved wife of the late David R. Fitzpatrick, passed away at the Woodhaven Assisted Living Center in Tewksbury on Friday, 21 February. She was 88 years of age.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 22, 1931, Jeanne was the beloved daughter of the late Wilbur C. and Bertha J. (Ryan) Jaynes. Always a very humorous person, she also enjoyed traveling, crocheting, decorating her home, caring for her plants, and time with her grand and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
Jeanne is survived by her loving children: Bryan D. and his wife Tina L. Fitzpatrick of Fairbanks, Alaska; Steven P. Fitzpatrick of Fall River; Deanna J. and her husband William J. Cronin Jr. of Tewksbury; Daniel S. and his wife Deanne Fitzpatrick of Fitchburg; sister-in-law; Dorothy Gilfoyle of Winthrop, grandchildren: Jodi, William, Devon, Shannon, Kaitlyn and Kerryn; great-grandchildren: Liam, Logan, Brady and Brody, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Donald H. Jaynes.
Her Funeral will be held from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 514 High Street, Medford at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 24, 2020, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford.
