New Bedford – Cynthia Marie (Mendoza) Pacheco, age 77, of New Bedford, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Jesse Pacheco, Jr.
Cynthia was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Antone Mendoza and Almarinda (Rapoza) Rackowski. She had been the proprietor and owner of Cove Beverage for many years and also worked at Stop & Shop. Cynthia loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She loved to knit, sew and spend time at her “Sumirk” Chalet in New Hampshire.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Michael Pacheco and Mark Pacheco and his wife Lori; daughter, Susan J. Pacheco; 6 grandchildren, Raechel Pacheco, Nicholas Pacheco, Torin Pacheco, Nathan Pacheco, Jessie Almeida and Paige Pacheco.

Cynthia’s visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, February 25th from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home. Her funeral will take place on Wednesday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
