…Pipefitter’s Local 237; 77
SALEM, NH - Russell Gilbert Fuller, age 77, died peacefully on Saturday, February 22, at Pennacook Place in Haverhill, where he had been in residence for the past two years. He was the beloved husband of Judith Anne (Taylor) Fuller, with whom he had celebrated a twenty-ninth wedding anniversary this past May 29th.
He was born in Worcester in May, 1942, the only child of Arthur and Marion (Bosford) Fuller, and raised in Grafton, where he graduated Grafton High School. Following graduation, he enlisted into the Mass Army National Guard and served for six years as a Guardsman. He had lived in Dracut most of his life, and moved to Salem in 2005.
He worked for the Boston Pipefitter’s Union, Local 237, and was proud to have worked on many of the buildings in the Boston skyline.
He enjoyed flying, and owned a small plane based at Worcester Airport, and later sailing, on his sailboat based at the Winthrop Yacht Club. He was a former member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
Besides his beloved wife Judy, he leaves a daughter, Tracy Bragdon; two granddaughters, Nicole Guarino, and Julie Guarino; two great grandchildren, Davonte and Mariah, all of Palm Bay, FL; and many dear friends throughout the Merrimack Valley and beyond.
Friends will be received Wednesday morning, Feb. 26, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph. (800 in MA or 978) 851 2950. His funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home, with burial in Tewksbury Cemetery.
