LAKEVILLE - William G. Salvador, 32, of Lakeville, formerly of West Bridgewater, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, after sustaining injuries in a motor vehicle accident in Bridgewater. He was the husband of Lauren E. (Wood) Salvador.
Born in Groton, Conn., raised in West Bridgewater, he was the son of Walter Salvador of West Bridgewater and Janet (McClare) Salvador of Bridgewater.
Mr. Salvador was a graduate of Coyle Cassidy High School in Taunton, Class of 1991, and was a graduate of Stonehill College in 1995 with a degree in psychology.
He was a fully licensed insurance broker and was in customer relations for his family insurance company, Salvador Insurance Co., in Bridgewater.
Prior to that, Mr. Salvador taught special education in West Bridgewater High School and was also a dog trainer for PetCo. for 10 years.
He also worked for Enos Landscaping for 15 years.
Mr. Salvador had been a resident in Lakeville for the past 6 years, coming from West Bridgewater, and he enjoyed reading, music and riding his motorcycle.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his sister, Christy Lynn Robbins of Brockton; his grandmothers, Esther (Cruz) Salvador of West Bridgewater and Doris (Desmore) McClare of Maine; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Deborah (Flaherty) Wood of West Bridgewater; and several aunts, uncles and many cousins. He was the grandson of the late Walter Salvador and George McClare.
His funeral Mass will be held in St. Ann’s Church, South Main St., West Bridgewater, Wednesday at 9:30 am. Visiting hours are Tuesday 3-8 pm in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rt.18), Bridgewater.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
