Michael C. Quental, age 60, of Swansea, passed away on Monday February 17, 2020. He was the son of Delores (Barboza Silva) and the late Charles Quental and husband of the late Debra A. (Pavao) Quental. He was an electrician at the Somerset Power Plant for many years. Michael enjoyed singing karaoke, cooking, was an avid Star Trek and sports fan, and enjoyed playing games with his family and friends and eagerly awaiting his first grandchild’s arrival in July.
He is survived by his children: Steven Pavao, and Jennifer Quental DaSilva, fiancé Lynn Andrade, step son: Devon Borges, siblings: Lisa Benevides Andrade, Jennifer Silva Furtado and Adam Silva, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late James Quental and Susan Silva.
His calling hours will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Thursday, February 20th from 4-8 P.M.
