Marie A. (Casieri) Ferreria, 82, of Whitman, passed away peacefully on February 13th 2020 in Brockton, MA in the presence of family.
Marie, born on November 29, 1937, grew up in Brockton before moving briefly to Taunton and finally settling down in Whitman. Daughter of Italian parents, Maria and Frank Casieri,
Marie is remembered as being a true matriarch who left behind a loving, lasting impact on her immediate family and anyone who had the privilege to know her.
Marie cherished being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who instilled loving family values to her kin by always being selfless, caring, resilient, generous, and funny with an open heart and an open door.
Beloved wife of the late David Ferreria, the late Richard H. Thibaudeau, Devoted mother to Carolyn, Beloved sister of Rose, Gloria, Joe “Tront”, and the late Michael Casieri and Aunt Nan. Loving Grandmother to John, Gina, Michael and Kristen. Loving Great Grandmother to Hannah and Luna.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St., (Rt 58 at the rotary circle) Whitman on Thursday, February 20th from 5pm to 7pm
