Obituary

Boston – Richard "Ricky" A. Wagner, age 34, of Fall River, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jessica Haley (Marcoux) Wagner.

Richard was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Richard Dale Wagner and Tammy (Brown) Boutin. He was proud of his South End roots and made many lifetime friends while playing baseball for the SEYAA, attending Roosevelt Junior High and New Bedford High School. Not only was Ricky exceptionally athletic but he also enjoyed art; whether it was drawing, writing music or adding on tattoos. A true character, he will always be remembered for his charisma, his charm and his ability to make everyone laugh. He was passionate about his family and especially loved his children above all else.

He had worked for Yates Rubber Manufacturing in Fall River.

He is survived by his mother, Tammy Boutin and step-father Scott Boutin of New Bedford; his wife, Jessica; children Aryana, Lilly and Gisele; step-daughter, Savanah; maternal grandmother Lillian Brown of New Bedford; siblings, Joseph Wagner of New Bedford, Meagan Conley of Fairhaven and Robert Boutin of Fall River. He also leaves behind his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as his beloved cats, Millo and Snow.

He is pre-deceased by his maternal grandfather Joseph A. Brown and nephew Broderick Sylvia both of New Bedford.

Richard’s visiting hours will be held on Saturday, February 22nd from 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral Home with a service to take place during this time. Burial will be private.
