Obituary

Attorney, John B. "Jack" O'Connor, (Retired Sergeant, Massachusetts State Police), a 22 year resident of Pembroke and formerly of Charlestown, South Boston and Humarock, entered into eternal life suddenly at his home on Friday, February 14, 2020. He was 62 years of age.

Jack was born in Chelsea on November 13, 1957, a son of the late John B. "Chick" O'Connor and Mary F. (Houlihan) O'Connor. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1975. Jack furthered his education and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and his Law Degree from New England School of Law. Jack entered the Massachusetts State Police in 1979 and retired as a Sergeant in 1994. Following his retirement, Jack began practicing law. He was a member of The Massachusetts Bar Association. Jack enjoyed boating and spending time in Humarock on the ocean and walking the beach. Jack also took great interest in the well being of animals especially his cats and dogs. Jack never forgot his Charlestown roots and was very dedicated to his close friends.

Jack is the beloved husband of 24 years to Felicia A. (Brewer) O'Connor. He is the beloved son of the late John B. "Chick" O'Connor and Mary F. (Houlihan) O'Connor. He is the devoted brother of Eileen Hodermarsky and her husband George, Kathleen O'Connor, Mary Wilson and her husband Brad, Maureen Hurley, Paul K. O'Connor and Janis Kearney. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews. He is the lifelong friend of Tom Junta.

Jack's Funeral Services and burial will be private.
