CARLETON C. FOLSOM

CARLETON C. "CARL" FOLSOM, age 71, a United States Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006 at Carney Hospital in Dorchester, MA following a long illness. Born in Norridgewok, Maine, Mr. Folsom was a resident of Dorchester for many years. He was the former owner of Freeport Auto Radiator in Dorchester and following the sale of the business, he worked at the Neponset Health Center in Dorchester. He was a member of the Dorchester Yacht Club and the Rice Post, Veteran's of Foreign Wars in Dorchester.
Mr Folsom is survived by his daughter; Lynn Folsom of Brighton, his Grandson Jonathan Folsom of Centreville, his sister: Tanya Leverant of Oveita, Florida, his brothers; Raymond Folsom of Braintree and George Folsom of Quincy and several nieces and nephews .
Visiting Hours will be at The O'Donnell & Mulry Funeral Home, 138 Neponset Ave., Dorchester on Tuesday Feb. 7, 2006 from 1 to 3 PM. A Prayer Service will follow at 3:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Donations in his memory may be made to the N.E. Shelter for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston, MA 02108.
