Joshua Manuel Rodriguez, 10, of Sandown, NH passed away, Sunday February 9, 2020 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH as the result of complications from Asthma. Joshua was born March 17, 2009 in Boston, MA and was the son of Wesley C. Scott and Aida I. Rodriguez. He was a lifelong resident of Sandown and was currently enrolled in the 5th grade at Sandown North Elementary School.
Josh was a sweet boy with a distinctive laugh who loved hanging out with friends, playing Xbox, sleepovers with friends and making up silly sayings. He could talk for hours about Fortnite and Roblox and spend even more time playing them. Josh was a caring boy who loved his family and friends wholeheartedly, his quick wit and curious nature were infectious. Joshua will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him, including his best buddies, Thor & Bruiser.
In addition to his parents, members of the family include his brother, Jonathan Scott, his paternal grandfather, Wesley A. Scott, his cousins Vickie, Kelly and Kim and scores of additional and extended family.
Calling hours were held on Friday February 14, 2020 from 4 to 8pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A graveside service was held Saturday the 15th at 11:30am at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody, MA.
