Betty Gray Hudson, 74, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Thursday, February 6, 2020, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Private Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Hudson was born July 12, 1945, in Coffee County, Georgia, to the late Alvin “Bud” Walsh, Sr. & Vera Smith Walsh. She moved to the community in 1990, from Jacksonville, Florida. She was a former clerk in the emergency room at Tift Regional Medical Center, worked in the banking industry in Jacksonville, Florida and Coffee County, Georgia, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Hudson was of the Baptist faith. “Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all” Proverbs 31:29.
She is survived by her children: Rhett David Gray & Dee of Ocilla and Paige Spell Farabow & Michael of Broxton, grandchildren: Anna Spell, Phillip Farabow, Sawyer Spell and Grayson Farabow; and a sister, Lois Schmidt of Lakeland, Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “C.J.” Gray and a brother, Alvin Walsh, Jr.
