Obituary

…Navy Veteran; from Lowell; 66
NASHUA, NH – Maurice “Big Moe” Rondeau, age 66, a truck driver and Navy Veteran, died unexpectedly at the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Friday, February 7, after suffering an apparent heart attack at his Nashua home earlier in the evening. He was the beloved husband of Diane L. (Paradis) Rondeau, with whom he had celebrated a thirty-eighth wedding anniversary this past October 3rd.
Moe was born in Lowell, one of two children of the late Raymond Lucien and Viollette Blanche (Boucher) Rondeau, and raised in Lowell, where he graduated from the Upholstery Program at Lowell Trade High School with the Class of 1971. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy, after serving during the post-Vietnam Era. He lived his entire life in the Lowell and Nashua area.
Moe worked as a truck driver for Belletetes Lumber Company and Sea Saw Grinding Company, but longest at Teradyne Company in Hudson, NH.
He loved Bingo nights at Eagle Wing in Nashua, and was a talented upholsterer while working on classic cars and other projects for his friends. He will be remembered for his ability to make you smile - when you least wanted to, and his keen sense of humor.
Besides his wife, he leaves three children and their spouses, Maurice James Rondeau, and his wife Jennifer of Wilton, NH, John Anthony Rondeau and his wife Sarah (Dane) of Wilton, NH, and Paularae Rondeau and her husband Ethan Rondeau of Nashua, NH; twelve grandchildren, Dylan Rondeau, Kaley Jacques, Courtney Rackliff, Joey Rackliff, Brook Rackliff, Brittney Rackliff, Ava Rondeau, Kasey Rondeau, Sydney Rondeau, Anthony Winslow, Aden Rondeau, and Jade Rondeau; a sister, Pauline Rondeau of Haverhill; and was eagerly expecting the birth of his first great-granddaughter this coming April.
Memorial visiting hours will be held Friday, February 14, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph.
