FALL RIVER…Frank M. Macri III (Aldo), 61 passed away on January 13, 2020 at Savoy Nursing and Rehab Center in New Bedford after battling cancer. Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Frank M Macri II and Elvira (Soares) Macri. Mr. Macri worked at Horner for many years until he became disabled. He very much enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed spending his weekend mornings with his son and best friend Frank at Twin River Casino and drinking his Dunkin Donuts coffee. Frank was always one to put a smile on anyone’s face as he disliked seeing anyone upset. He helped anyone whenever he could.
Survivors include his two sons, Frank Macri, IV and his girlfriend Nancy of Fall River, his son Robert Macri of TN, his daughter Rachel Ruelas and his grandchildren, Madison, Cole and Shannyn. His siblings include his two sisters Lydia Ponte of New York, Elizabeth Barboza of Fall River and a brother Joseph Rego and wife Shirley of Fall River. He leaves behind a goddaughter and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was also the grandfather of the late Cameron Macri and brother of the late Brenda Levrault. Private arrangements were entrusted in the care of South Coast Funeral Home.
