NEW BEDFORD… Eugene C. Woodley, Jr., 60, of New Bedford passed away January 17, 2020. Born in North Carolina a son of the late Eugene C. Sr. and Martha (Holley) Woodley and had lived in New Bedford since 2014. He was the companion of Juanita Goode for the last 34 yrs.
Mr. Woodley served in the United States Marine Corps.
Along with his companion, survivors include his sons: Eugene C. Woodley III and Rashud S. Goode, both of New Bedford; a step-son: Paul Goode of Boston; 2 step-daughters: Joeline Goode and Queenie Goode, both of New Bedford; 2 brothers: Charles Woodley and James Woodley, both of Boston; a sister: Patrica Woodley of Boston; 5 grandchildren: Ni’ Yani, Ny’ Raya, Aaron, Ny, Xaiver; a brother-in-law: George Goode of New Bedford; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday at 12:00 noon at Union Baptist Church, 109 Court St., New Bedford, MA. Burial will take place in North Carolina.
