Reba Joyce Strickland Pryor, 89, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at her residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mrs. Pryor at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery in Savannah, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Dr. Rick Cason will officiate.
Born November 21, 1930 in Glennville, Mrs. Pryor was the daughter of the late Ernest Strickland and Learie Louise “Dee” Kicklighter Strickland. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Pryor; one daughter, Diane Cleland; and one brother, Gene Strickland. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pryor is survived by two sons, Philip M. Pryor and Cary Pryor, both of Tallahassee, Florida; one daughter, Janna E. Lee of Tifton; two sisters, Barbara Dasher and Linda Hallman, both of Glennville; three grandchildren, Christopher Lee, Joyce Wertz and April Saxson; and four great-grandchildren, Austin Lee, Elizabeth Wertz, Bella Lynn and Gregory Saxson.
