Obituary

Lysakowski of Brockton, formerly of Weymouth and Braintree February 3, 2006 Louis F. Lysakowski, 85 years. Beloved husband for 56 years to Margaret H. (Roper). Father of John W. Lysak (Lysakowski) of Stoughton, Robert F. of Ware and Thomas M. of E. Bridgewater. Brother of Henry W. of Quincy, Raymond J. of Weymouth, Jennie Bornstein of Chestnut Hill, and the late Clara M. Cannon formerly of Weymouth. Grandfather of Luke C. and Hannah A. Lysak and Michael R. and Kathleen M. Lysakowski. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 9am. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery Weymouth.

Louis was born in New Britain, Ct the son of the late Walter J. and Marcyanna (Wysocki) Lysakowski. As a child Louis and his family moved to Weymouth where he was raised and educated. A graduate of Weymouth high school, Louis was inducted into the Weymouth High School Athletic Hall of Fame as an outstanding Football Player for the school. After graduation he entered the army and proudly served our country during WWII as a Sergeant stationed in the Philippines. Following his tour of duty in the army Louis married his wife Margaret of 56 years and settled first in Wollaston for a short period of time, then to Braintree where they lived and raised their own family from 1956-1985; then to Weymouth for 20 years and in Brockton for the last 8 months. Louis was Mechanical Designer by trade and worked for Jackson & Moreland in Boston from 1950 – 1961 and then onto the Hodge Boiler Works formerly in E. Boston from 1961 till his retirement in 1990. Beside his family his first love was sailing but also enjoyed fishing, music in general and was an accomplished accordion player.
